Ribble Valley Jazz Big Band returns to the Spread Eagle celebrating its 11th anniversary. The band has been directed throughout by Paul Rigby, one of the most experienced and talented band leaders in the North West whose bands always entertain exceedingly well, or better! Paul has also been leading the famous Northern Jazz Orchestra for over 25 years.
RV Jazz Big Band will play classical, modern & new tunes in an entertaining performance, laced with lively solos from various band members, and vocals by Miles Peachy. Be aware! This band has been sold out on all four previous appearances at the Spread Eagle Dinner Jazz’s Christmas Party!

To continue with our excellent quality menu and good service we need to make some tweaks to our booking system. Sunday Afternoon Dinner Jazz events will now need to be booked and paid for in advance by phone, 01200 441202 or in person at the pub. Gigs are still 2pm to 4pm.
Advance booking fee is £22.50, giving you a 2 course meal comprising a main course and starter or dessert, and live jazz music. You will be able to choose from two set meals on the day. Please advise, when booking, if there are any dietary requirements, eg vegetarian.
If you usually just come for a drink at the bar to watch the jazz the charge in January will be £7.50 pp.
We love having the jazz once a month and to keep this a regular event this is the only way, moving forward, that we will be able to do this.
