Thanks for sticking around for the remainder of Sidetracks & Detours´ inaugural Joined Up jazz Festival. Ella Fitzgeral was called The First Lady Of Song, ans he was certainly the first lady jazz singer I ever saw or heard. I remember nights at the Sunday Palladium in black and white on telly, and I´m pretty sure it was on that programme I first heard her sing about taskets and the paper moons that hang in our skies.
