Those of us who have been calling ourselves the joined up jazz journalists bring our festival to a close by explaining who we are as individuals, what synergy we enjoy and why we decide to combine our skills and resources to deliver a ´festival´ that has included daily blogs across ten successive workdays, and included two radio programmes. We have brought together two journalists from the UK with two journalists from Lanzarote, covered traditional and modern jazz and have gathered in news from the UK, The Canary islands, America, Israel and South Korea. When the jazz industry has been working so hard to continue, throughout the covid crisis, providing a living for its practitioners and to continue entertaining their fans we felt in the press had a duty to support them. So we finish the festival by telling you a bit about as individuals and where you can find our work and news of the community and national and even international jazz scenes.
